Kiss the baby!

Had a great time today at the FanFest. Got plenty of autographs – Crosby, Kennedy, Blanton, Piazza, Bradley, Kielty, Halsey, Swisher, Haren and Blanton – as well as a picture with Dennis Eckersely.

We got there early and left late. We got a number of our autographs on authentic baseballs as well as scoring them on Gabriel’s jumbo baseball which is quickly becoming full with nearly the entire team being represented.

Going to FanFest 2007!

Stomper

We’ll be out at the Coliseum tomorrow to have some fun at the annual A’s FanFest. We’re assured of a ton of autographs as this year we were able to get Autograph Session tickets in advance. We’ll be hoping to score a Picture ticket right away (those go real fast). I’d dig a picture with Swisher!

Gabriel (RED)

Gabriel (RED)

Shot in the “Red” room which was formerly the guest room until we decided to turn it into Gabriel’s playroom. While we haven’t quite finished, all of his toys (Thomas Train Table, Cars TV, Cars Bench and Art Easel) are all in place. I’m waiting to buy a couple of Pixar/Disney posters to go along with the art prints we have from various Pixar movies.

Love this photo. So cool that we were able to see the “real life” Lightning McQueen. Gabriel really loves the movie and is having a blast playing with the die-cast versions of the characters. Getting up close to the car was a real thrill for him and his cousins.

Finally got around to uploading the Disneyland pictures for the most part. I’ve assembled them in an album for easy browsing. Yoiu can view it here and the slideshow is available here. Enjoy!

We thought he might be more comfortable with the haircut but he was still teary-eyed once the scissors came into play. He didn’t fuss too much but was happy once it was over. He even gave a “thanks” to the stylist.
